Program Overview

Explore Jamaica’s tropical rainforest! On this program, you’ll journey to Jamaica’s tropical rainforest high in the Blue and John Crow Mountains. After viewing its rustic landscape, there will be no question why it has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The majestic slopes span across four parishes, and from its remarkable summit, one can see both the North and South coasts of the island. This region is a perfect area to learn about the many indigenous plant species of Jamaica, wilderness survival skills, and the famous Blue Mountain coffee. The Blue & John Crow Mountains are also known for their endless outdoor adventure activities, so be ready to hike, go swimming, and immerse yourself in the life of the descendants of the Maroons – runaway slaves.

My days at this program were remarkable, I have learned so much during this program, it has helped me understand who I am as a person. This is a recommended program for every high school or college student who want to discover themselves and leave a mark on people's lives. Make a difference, every single day. Silver Estate

Silver Estate was an unbelievable experience. The remote location gave the experience its unique and memorable impact. We spent the time picking coffee and planting coffee trees. The experience was great for the kids.
