Women Empowerment & Community Outreach Volunteer Program – Tanzania Join a life-changing volunteer experience in Tanzania and become part of a program dedicated to empowering women, protecting girls’ rights, and creating lasting change in local communities. This program gives you the opportunity to work alongside local organizations supporting women and girls affected by gender-based violence, forced marriage, abuse, and social inequality—especially within rural Maasai communities. As a volunteer, you will contribute to community outreach and educational initiatives focused on: * Women’s rights and gender equality * Family planning and reproductive health education * HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention * Girls’ education and empowerment * Community development You may assist with school visits, awareness campaigns, and outreach programs in villages and community centers. Volunteers also support safe homes that provide protection and care for girls escaping forced marriages, violence, or unsafe living situations. The program is ideal for students, gap year travelers, social work volunteers, healthcare volunteers, community development, and cultural exchange.
