Do you love children and enjoy playing with them? Would you like to see them running toward you with their little feet and big smiles? Join our daycare or primary school caretaker program, where you’ll help teach basic English—like letters, numbers, animals, colors, and days of the week—or simply enjoy quality playtime with them. Most volunteers join Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., giving you plenty of free time to explore the beauty of Tanzania. Relax in local cafés or restaurants, swim in hotel pools, hit the gym or join yoga sessions, take waterfall hikes, or go on safari to encounter wild animals up close in the Serengeti!

The children are so warm and lovely, welcoming us ever day with a smile and Tanzania itself is so beautiful, we visited the hot springs, materuni waterfalls, did safari, went to hotels to swim in the pools, did African dance classes or yoga and discovered so many things. We always felt safe and fell in love with the African country and its people!

I met so many nice people from all over the world and those are my friends now. The hostel atmosphere was so cozy and familiar, the whole staff cared about everyone there and the place is so beautiful with a big tropical garden and also the food was very delicious and fresh! We did safari and other trips with Emmanuel and it was soooooo beautiful - I recommend 10000%
