Give a Heart To Africa (GHTA) is a women's empowerment project located in Moshi, Kilimanjaro Region, Tanzania. Our mission is to empower local women through education and entrepreneurship. We offer free education in English, business, and vocational skills for one year. Upon graduation, we assist some of the women with starting a small business.

Give a Heart To Africa (GHTA) is a women's empowerment project located in Moshi, Kilimanjaro Region, Tanzania. Our mission is to empower local women through education and entrepreneurship. We offer free education in English, business, and vocational skills for one year. Upon graduation, we assist some of the women with starting a small business.
All subjects are taught by international volunteers and translated by former graduates. No prior teaching experience is required as we have detailed lesson plans in place.
Every Friday, we visit one of our students in their home, meet their family, and share a meal and stories. This provides for a wonderful cultural exchange and an opportunity for us to get to know each other better.
