Spanish Immersion Boarding Program in Colombia

by: Gaia Family Club

Discover Gaia Family Club – a nature-based boarding school where children live, learn, and grow in Spanish. Located in the lush countryside of Chía, Colombia, just outside Bogotá, Gaia offers an immersive Spanish experience for children ages 13 –17, as well as family groups who wish to share the journey together. Our month-long International Spanish Immersion Program blends language learning with hands-on projects, outdoor exploration, cultural exchange, and community life. Each day, participants are immersed in real-life Spanish through meaningful activities: gardening, cooking Colombian dishes, exploring nature trails, and connecting with local children. They also join Gaia’s Alternative Education Program, fully integrated with our community of local learners. Through various clubs — Art and Creativity, Science and Nature, Cooking, Emotional Intelligence, Theater, and Movement — Spanish becomes a living language of curiosity, expression, and friendship. We welcome families from around the world who value freedom, nature, and authentic cultural connection. Gaia is not just a place to study — it’s a space to experience Colombia with heart, curiosity, and joy.
