Teach English in Vietnam for One Semester

Fluent Education places English teachers in schools across Vietnam for a single five-month semester, not the standard 12-month contract common elsewhere. Since 2011, more than 1,200 teachers have taught through the program with 100+ partner schools nationwide. Teachers earn US$1,000 per month plus a US$500 completion bonus at the end of the semester. The program includes a 5-day orientation in Hanoi, airport pickup, accommodation arrangements, visa and work permit guidance, and ongoing local support from Fluent's in-country team throughout the placement. No prior teaching experience is required; most teachers are starting their first classroom role. Applicants need an undergraduate degree in any subject from a recognized university and a 120-hour TEFL or TESOL certificate. The program is open to native English speakers from the UK, Ireland, the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Two intakes run each year, January and August. The application takes about 20 minutes and includes a short video introduction.
