Exchange do Bem is a social enterprise dedicated to fostering volunteerism by connecting volunteers with diverse projects worldwide.
Founded in 2016 by Eduardo Mariano, who holds a degree in Business Administration from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil), and has worked in various roles in the finance sector of a multinational corporation. His decision to establish Exchange do Bem came after a transformative volunteer experience in Nepal.
Today, 8 years after his decision make it happen, we offer projects in education, women's empowerment, child protection, animal welfare, health, sports, environmental conservation, and more. There are over 70 options available in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. So, volunteers can choose from meaningful opportunities to engage in their volunteer exchange.
Our mission is to create positive impact and provide deeply immersive cultural experiences.
With that, we don't aim to create a new world; rather, we strive to make this world a better, fairer, and more equal place.

The Jaguar Breeding Center is an extraordinary place where you can connect with nature while aiding endangered animals. The project team is exceptionally welcoming, and participating in the daily care of the animals is highly rewarding. I visited at the end of last year, and it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life!

I was there last year with a group of 5 volunteers. It was such an amazing experience because I was looking for contact with nature and animals. The project does an incredible job of taking care of Brazilian animals to prevent their extinction. Even though the name is Jaguar Project, the project helps more than 200 species, and there are more than 2000 animals there. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about Brazilian biodiversity.

Yes, of course! We know that exploring the country is an essential part of the travel experience. Therefore, we ensure that you will have free days for trips and sightseeing. Additionally, if you wish, you can extend your stay after the program for tourism purposes. The only thing we ask is that during the volunteer workdays, you remain committed and present in the projects, as they rely on your help.
Yes! We are an e-commerce agency registered with Cadastur, the Ministry of Tourism. This means that we offer all the necessary support for your trip, from purchasing the program to providing quotes for airline tickets and travel insurance. Yes, you have the flexibility to adjust your plans! If the cancellation occurs less than 35 days but more than 18 days before the start of the program, you will be charged a fee of 50% of the project value in reais and will be refunded 50% of the project value.
