Program Overview

Learn Spanish in the heart of Panama City with EPA! Español en Panamá is an Instituto Cervantes-accredited Spanish language school offering an immersive combination of language learning and cultural experiences.

Our Intensive Spanish Program includes 20 hours of group Spanish classes per week, Monday through Friday. Classes focus on practical communication skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, helping students gain confidence using Spanish in real-life situations. Programs are available for different proficiency levels, and students complete a placement assessment before beginning their course.

Students can start on any Monday and choose the length of their stay, making this program ideal for university students, gap-year travelers, professionals, and adults looking for a flexible Spanish immersion experience.
Learning continues beyond the classroom. Participants have opportunities to discover Panama through cultural and educational activities such as exploring Casco Antiguo, visiting the Panama Canal at the Miraflores Visitor Center, discovering Panama Viejo, experiencing local wildlife, and participating in cultural activities and workshops.

Optional homestay accommodation allows students to experience daily life with a Panamanian host while practicing Spanish outside the classroom. Homestays include a private room, breakfast, and dinner. Airport transportation and additional accommodation options can also be arranged.

Studying in Panama City offers a unique opportunity to learn Spanish in a dynamic international destination where modern city life, Latin American culture, history, nature, and Caribbean and Pacific influences come together.
At EPA!, our goal is to help students improve their Spanish while experiencing Panama as more than just a visitor.
