Volunteer in Grenada – Elvira's Garden Community Centre

I had an amazing time volunteering at Elvira's Garden in Grenada. I LOVED working with the children, and i miss them everyday. Getting to know them was definitely the highlight of my entire trip. The entire team at Elvira's Garden was so amazing and welcoming, special thanks to Kiera and Rae for being my side the entire trip. The entire team treated me like family. Grenada was my first ever trip internationally alone, and it was definitely the perfect place for me to be. All the people are incredibly kind and the culture is beautitul. I love it there and cannot wait to visit!!

I volunteered at Elvira's Garden Easter Camp and would definitely recommend it! The staff did everything they could to give the children a great 2 weeks with lots of activites like dancing, swimming, crafts and excursions. All the staff and other volunteers were very welcoming, so I felt comfortable from the start. I also appreciated that my vegetarian diet was taken into consideration and that I could always choose a vegetarian alternative. All in all, it was a great time for me and I am glad to have been part of this wonderful project which is definitely a gift for the children in Grenada.

Had a great time with Elvira's Garden!! Felt welcomed and part of the family from the beginning. They went out of their way to accomodate my goals, needs and adjusted the scheduling to accomodate all of the different cultural activities I wanted to attend!! Highly recommend this program!! A beautiful home stay and country!!
