Volunteering with Dogs and Cats in Ecuador – Animal Care

Do you want to volunteer with animals across Ecuador in South America? Animal lovers are welcome to volunteer at a dog and cat rescue center or shelter in a wide variety of volunteer roles such as feeding, bathing, taking dogs for a walk, cleaning cages, rescue operations, assisting the veterinary team in sterilization issues, treatments, drug administration, helping animals find lovely new homes, and much more.

The main objective of these centers is to provide injured, abused, and abandoned dogs and cats with general care and welfare, as well as to control the overpopulation on the streets. This project is an ideal opportunity for animal-loving volunteers. Everyone can help and make a real difference in the lives of animals. There are no specific qualifications required. However, basic knowledge of Spanish and good physical shape/health are highly recommended.
