Program Overview
What could be better than volunteering in a national park? How about volunteering in an Ecuadorian National Park, such as the Galapagos National Park and Machalilla National Park?
This opportunity offers an excellent chance to explore and discover the rich biodiversity of Ecuador's ecosystems, landscapes, and more. Volunteers directly contribute to preservation efforts through various activities, including English language training for park staff responsible for tours and park literature, conservation projects, environmental initiatives, planting, reforestation, park maintenance, fence repair, and gardening. Placements are in parks throughout Ecuador (Highlands, Coastal lowlands, the Amazon region, and the Galapagos Islands).
A basic knowledge of Spanish is necessary to participate in this program.
