Psychology Internships in Ecuador, South America

Bolster classroom education with experience in an applied setting through Psychology Internships in Ecuador offered by ELEP. Specialized training in various settings will prepare interns and students for a promising future in psychology, with outstanding internship training experiences tailored to the needs of each intern. Participants will work closely with professional staff and patients (e.g., children, young people, older adults, and women veterans) in day-to-day psychological duties, including diagnosis, behavioral therapy, professional consultation, addressing psychiatric issues, sleep-wake disorders, geriatric psychology, and managed mental health care, among other responsibilities. During this internship or training, interns or trainees will gain a breadth of experience working with different diagnoses. They develop the ability to plan, conduct, and write psychological assessments, and provide professional consultation and effective treatment in various settings. Our psychology internship program is available year-round and lasts from 6 to 24 weeks.
