As a Marketing Intern or Trainee, design and conduct market research and analyze the results. You may also be involved in designing advertising materials, from the initial concept to their placement in publications or distribution to the public. You may assist with the development of marketing plans tailored to specific clients. Marketing is considered a creative industry, so you should be able to create innovative marketing plans or promotional materials. You should know how to research potential markets and competitors and analyze the results.
