Volunteering on our Nursing and Healthcare project in Ecuador, South America, is an unforgettable and rewarding experience. We need healthcare professionals and medical students worldwide to provide healthcare services to underserved rural and urban communities in public hospitals and medical foundations across this beautiful country.
For those who aspire to build a career in health-related fields, our medical and healthcare placements offer an exceptional learning opportunity apart from a gratifying volunteer experience. They can contribute directly to an area of interest such as gynecology, pediatrics, general medicine, emergency, pharmacy, physical therapy, dentistry, surgery, ophthalmology, etc.
Volunteers can also teach new mothers about health and nutrition, inform at-risk populations about HIV/AIDS and its prevention, or teach First Aid. In short, there is a wide variety of medical departments and tasks within the hospitals and medical foundations where medical students or healthcare professionals can collaborate, as part of their daily routines.
