Medical Volunteering in Ecuador, Latin America

Our Medical Volunteer program in Latin America/South America is available across Ecuador in a wide range of fields. It has been designed for pre-med, undergraduate, and recent medical and nursing graduates, as well as professionals from all over the world interested in making a significant impact and real difference in the lives of disadvantaged people. Access to healthcare in developing communities is often limited, thus extra pairs of hands are needed to provide vital services. As a medical volunteer, you will be involved in the day-to-day operations of hospitals, medical NGOs, and clinics, observing and assisting doctors and nurses directly. ELEP Volunteer & Internship Programs arranges short-term (2 weeks) or long-term (24 weeks) medical placements and volunteer opportunities in various locations across Ecuador. Our medical placements are available throughout the year, with start dates every Monday. These can be tailored to your interests, experience, and abilities.
