Suppose you are a law student or young professional seeking a volunteer opportunity to gain international practical experience. In that case, you are welcome to participate in our Law/Legal Aid Volunteer Work Program in Ecuador. The role involves collaborating on a variety of services to help and defend the low-income Ecuadorian society. Our program offers you the opportunity to participate and become involved in projects established by public institutions or NGOs that specialize in providing legal assistance and legal aid attorneys. Work on a range of civil cases in areas like child abuse, intra-familial violence, human rights violations, domestic violence, police abuse, paternity cases, simple divorce, and mediation. As a volunteer attorney, you collaborate with the local staff, observing and providing legal counsel or representation for problems and mediation issues.
