This program lets volunteers collaborate and participate in projects conducted in health clinics, non-profit organizations, or government agencies to spread awareness regarding the devastating disease known as HIV/AIDS. Participants help develop sexual health education; promote prevention programs; and conduct training seminars, especially for groups like lay health professionals and sex trade workers. They can also assist with medical and psychological attention, as well as antiretroviral therapy programs. A good knowledge of Spanish and the desire to collaborate are necessary to be eligible for this program.
