Animal Care/Veterinary Medicine Volunteering in Ecuador

ELEP Volunteer & Internship Programs offer the opportunity to volunteer in Ecuador through our Animal Care and Veterinary programs. Contribute to efforts in rescuing, rehabilitating, and relocating confiscated animals to their natural habitat. You help build new cages and improve existing facilities to create a more natural environment for birds and animals, gather food from the forest, and consult with the biologist, among many other tasks. You can combine this placement with the Animal Care program and become involved in laboratory work, operations, vaccinations, and other veterinary work. To be eligible, you need the following: * Good knowledge of Spanish * Desire to collaborate * Knowledge of animal medicine could be helpful
