Program Overview

This program is suited for high school students aspiring to join the medical field or undergraduates aspiring to be Physician Assistants (PAs). Our tailored shadowing rotations give participants the opportunity to shadow PAs; hence, learning what the day-to-day work of healthcare professionals entails. They get the chance to undertake various activities in the hospital, under professional supervision. These activities may include clerking patients, history taking, physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and others. Through our well-established mentorship structure, you receive guidance from a dedicated healthcare professional(s) to further understand the procedures you observe, the activities you undertake, and the happenings that intrigue you. You have the option of choosing from various specialties such as Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Pediatrics and Child Health, Internal Medicine, Accidents and Emergency, and Surgery.

Great experience

This internship was a great way to gain experience, learn in a medical environment, and a way to help local people in need. Throughout this program I got the opportunity to met and work under amazing doctors who have inspired me beyond my expectation. I was able to work hands on with patients and interact with them on a daily basis where I felt a sense of community. Learning in this environment is very enriching.
