Carpentry & Bioconstruction at Eco Farm

Eco Caminhos is an international permaculture farm and learning community located in the mountains of Nova Friburgo, Rio de Janeiro, within Brazil’s Atlantic Forest.

For more than 12 years, we have been developing regenerative projects focused on bioconstruction, agroforestry, sustainability education, and community living. We welcome people from around the world to participate in practical experiences connected to natural building and regenerative lifestyles.

We are looking for people with experience in carpentry, woodworking, construction, bamboo structures, roofing, or natural building techniques who would like to contribute to ongoing projects on the farm.

Participants may work with cob, adobe, recycled materials, natural finishes, carpentry, and structural building systems. Much of the work is connected to the development of Ecolibrium, our future regional center for sustainability and permaculture education.

Besides construction activities, participants can enjoy workshops, hikes, waterfalls, sports, Portuguese lessons, and life within an international community surrounded by forests and mountains.
