The best time in Mozambique
October 05, 2019by: Carolin Kalmbach - GermanyMeeting the local Bottlenose Dolphins for the very first time was such a breathtaking experience. Watching them interacting in such a friendly manner with us humans. The way they showed their interest towards us and especially looking at their relationship with Angie was such a wonderful way to start each day. I am very thankful for the whole DERC team, letting me be a part of you. Especially Sabrina for spending each day with me, being such a lovely friend and sharing all your knowledge about the ocean creatures with me.There is no better opportunity to learn about the local dolphins, whales and the whole research program than spending time with Angie and the team. Doing all the different work like the micro-plastic collection, skeleton or office work and beach cleanup. After all that I had an absolute wonderful month spending my time in Ponta do Ouro, and gaining an even stronger love for the Dolphins.
