The best year of my life

April 28, 2025by: Mariana Villa Baca - MexicoProgram: A Year of French Language and Culture in Paris

I am from Mexico and I had always dreamt about learning French and visiting Paris, thanks to this program I was able to live in the city of my dreams while I was studying this beautiful languange. I had great teachers, I had the opportunity to attend to very interesting conferences in which I learnt more about French culture and I made some good friends with whom I still talk from time to time. Being a student in this program allowed me to get a student visa and to access all the benefits that the French goverment provides for students: social security, access to university restaurants, aid for paying my rent... At the end of the program I was able to get the DELF B2. It was a beautiful experience for me and thanks to what I learnt I was able to get a job as French teacher here in my country.
