Amazing experience!

We had an amazing experience volunteering for Constru Casa in Guatemala. The organisation is extremely well run and will provide a great volunteering experience. We had a group of 6 friends and within approx. 7 days we (alongside 3 masons) were able to build a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house for a single mum and her four boys. Constru Cas gave us a very thorough briefing about our project and made regular contact with us to ensure that the project was running as it should. Everyone is very friendly and went out of their way to ensure that we had everything that we needed. The masons were great at ensuring that we always had jobs to do and were kept busy. They were also very accommodating and flexible when we required our program to be changed to allow for some sightseeing. The highlight of my holiday to Central America.

My Time with Constru Casa

Volunteering with Constru Casa was truly an amazing experience! It was my first time traveling out of the country and they made sure we had a very detailed orientation so that we felt comfortable both in country and on the work site. If I could volunteer with them again I would do so in a heartbeat!

The best week ever!

I could not have prepared myself for how life-changing Guatemala and working with Constru Casa would be. Every member of the Constru Casa team was warm and welcoming, from the office staff to the work crew. I am still in contact with the people I went to Guatemala with, and we reminisce on the experience often! We were so happy to see pictures of the final house with the family moved in.
