Medical Volunteer in Tanzania:Learn, Serve and Make & Impact
Program Overview
Step into Tanzania’s healthcare system and turn your passion for medicine into a meaningful experience that combines learning, cultural connection, and community impact. Volunteers have the opportunity to observe, learn from, and support healthcare professionals in a real clinical environment, with responsibilities suited to their training and experience. What makes CAI special is our focus on learning through genuine community engagement. You’ll work alongside local healthcare teams, gain insight into the realities of healthcare in Tanzania, and develop greater confidence and cultural awareness along the way. With guidance and support from the CAI team throughout your placement, you’ll have the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom while contributing your time and skills where they are needed.
