Do I need to be a medical student or healthcare professional?

Medical students, healthcare professionals, and participants exploring a career in healthcare are welcome. Your role will be matched to your training, experience, and the needs of the placement. But also you can experience medical program with no medical background.

What should I expect on my first day?

Your first day is about getting comfortable. You’ll receive an orientation, learn about your placement and responsibilities, and meet the people you’ll be working with before getting started.

What should I wear at the hospital or medical facility?

You should wear clean, comfortable, professional clothing (Scrubs)suitable for a healthcare environment. Specific requirements may vary depending on your placement, so we’ll guide you before you begin.

Will I be able to interact with patients?

Depending on your qualifications and the facility’s guidelines, you may have opportunities to interact with patients while learning from and supporting the healthcare team. Patient safety and privacy always come first.

What will I do during the medical placement?

You may observe and support healthcare professionals with appropriate activities such as surgeries, births. The focus is on learning, professional exposure, and supporting the healthcare team.
