I am highly likely to recommend CIEE Study Abroad to a friend. I think it is a great program and a great opportunity. I think the only downside is you being on your own for food other than that I have quite literally 0 compliants.
I would likely because it's the best decision I've ever made. Studying abroad helps one see the world In a different eye. You meet people of all races and different background which helps you understand other cultures better.
I felt it was a really good and helpful program, but there are definitely some things that are better about one location versus another. I much preferred my lodging in Berlin versus London for example. And the level of interaction/communication with students by staff.
CIEE was a fantastic experience. The staff (Martin, Roman, Kate, John) were all wonderful people. They were approachable and supported us in every way. CIEE also did a great job of providing flexibility in different activities around Berlin. It was fun to be in a small group, because we all bonded.
