CIEE Summer Community Public Health in Buenos Aires

I truly loved my experience in this program. Although the courses were intensive, they were challenging in the best way and truly opened my eyes to the different systems of health that the world can have. Our professors were so kind and passionate about teaching us; the coordinators of the program were so sweet and helpful. I also had more free time than I expected which was nice, and I had the opportunity to leave Buenos Aires multiple times which was refreshing. Thanks to everyone for a great two months!

CIEE Study Abroad has been a very fun experience in terms or the city, the people I’ve met, and the courses I’ve taken. Everyone has been very kind and amenable and there was a lot of community building activities to help foster friendships among peers while also learning about the city and culture we are in. My anxieties about being in a foreign place with strangers were blown away immediately, and I will cherish the memories and friends I’ve made. Overall, I would recommend CIEE Study Abroad and hope my friend or peer has as great an experience as I did.

This has been a great program in terms of both the academic and cultural experience! The only thing that i did not like was the structure of the program where you couldn't spend the entire time in the same place. Also the total cost of the program was a bit high.

I learned a lot and my spanish really improved. My main complaint is the organization and the misleading advertisement (the website advertised field work, but it was completely observational). However overall, it was a great experience.

I did this program it's first year. There were a few mishaps, but it was great. I'm sure everything has been moved out. You spend 3 weeks in Buenos Aires taking Public Health Classes, then 3 weeks in a different town, observing doctors, learning that about the public health system. It really was amazing and I highly recommend it.
