Experience the fiery passion of flamenco in Seville, a dance known for expressive hand clapping, intricate footwork and soulful rhythms rooted in Andalusian, Moorish and Romani traditions. Dancers from around the world come to Seville for flamenco, a dance dating back to the 15th century. Collaborate with fellow Global Navigators of mixed training levels and choreograph your own original performance. Each day includes two core dance components: rigorous dance training and creative studio work. Weekly themes will weave together Dance Composition and Repertory, Dance History, and traditional dance forms from Seville’s rich heritage.
