Program Overview

Nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, Palampur is a world away from the India you see in the brochures, and that is exactly what makes it special. This is where adventure meets purpose. Over 2 to 4 weeks, you will join a team of global changemakers working at rural partner schools in this stunning mountain town.

Design and deliver workshops in conversational English, STEAM, creative arts, and life skills, giving young learners the confidence and tools they need to build a better future. You will also contribute to infrastructure improvements, helping create safer, more inspiring spaces for children to learn.

In a country where over 19% of the population faces illiteracy, driven by geography, gender inequality, and underfunding, your contribution genuinely matters. When you are not on the project, Palampur delivers. Tea gardens, mountain trails, monasteries, and local markets are all on your doorstep. Weekend trips to Dharamshala are a highlight for most.

All accommodation, weekday meals, in-country transport, and 24/7 support are included. Your summer travel just got a whole lot more meaningful.
