Catalyst – Institute for Creative Arts and Technology

We launched Catalyst in Berlin over 12 years ago to create a space where students from around the world could grow through hands-on learning in the creative arts. With roots in the UK and a background in training artists for over 20 years, we now welcome learners from more than 75 countries to our campus at the historic Funkhaus. Our courses cover everything from music production and sound engineering to filmmaking, screenwriting, acting, and visual effects. Our goal is to help students find their creative voice through doing—experimenting, collaborating, and learning by practice. We offer everything from short summer courses to full bachelor’s and master’s degrees, all taught in English and validated by a UK university.
