Program Highlights

Practice-based research in music production, recording, composition, programming, performance, sound design, improvisation, instrument design, and sound art.
Our riverside campus at Funkhaus is part of the historic building that was once home to the GDR’s broadcasting station and was one of the world’s largest multi-studio complexes during the Soviet era.
MA Symposium: Catalyst's MA Symposium is an annual two-day event where our Master’s students present their artistic research alongside international artists and academics.
Artistry Connect meetups, Guest Sessions, listening parties, experimental showcases and regular Etikett Radio slots put your work in circulation.
International cohort: We aim to promote and support the exchange and debate of philosophical, political, social and ethical issues from a range of different cultures and backgrounds.
