MSc in Enviromental Engineering for the Green Transition

This programme in Environmental Engineering prepares professionals to tackle challenges related to the ecological transition and climate change. The first year focuses on essential knowledge, including water resources management, waste and wastewater treatment, and environmental impact analysis. The second year allows students to specialize in one of three areas: - Environment and Health: Focuses on wastewater recovery (circular economy), air quality control and management, and modeling contaminant dispersion. - Climate and Risk: Provides tools to predict, assess, and evaluate risks associated with climate change, covering mitigation, adaptation strategies, and urban resilience. - Environmental Intelligence: Develops high-level skills in Digital Twins and Artificial Intelligence as applied to environmental engineering. Throughout the program, students cultivate advanced skills in analyzing and modeling air pollutants, developing water resource protection technologies, and studying climate change impacts. Graduates will be proficient in applying modern IT and statistical analysis tools to evaluate environmental impacts and define improvement actions for processes and services.
