Study Abroad in Seoul, South Korea

by: Authentica

Authentica's Study Abroad in Seoul, South Korea, is a semester or summer program hosted at Sogang University, a top-ranked Jesuit research university in the heart of the city. South Korea's transformation from post-war recovery to a G20 economic powerhouse is remarkable. With tech giants like Samsung and Naver, along with the global influence of K-pop and cinema, Seoul immerses students in this narrative. The program is open to currently enrolled students at a US-accredited college or university in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Students choose from six concentrations—Sustainable Business & Innovation in Asia; Technology, AI & the Future of Work; Economic Development & Asia's Rise; Politics, History & the Korean Peninsula; Korean Society & Identity; and K-Culture, Media & the Global Hallyu. Semesters carry 9-15 credits, and summers carry 3 credits (with a free second-course option). All courses are taught in English by Sogang faculty. Housing options include on-campus residence halls or off-campus apartments near the Mapo-gu campus, which is close to Hongdae, major tech companies, and Seoul's public transit.

Program Highlights

Study in one of Asia's leading AACSB-accredited business schools, set in one of Seoul's most vibrant and connected neighborhoods.
