The Atelier Neo Medici is a private art school specializing in intensive Painting and Drawing courses. The Atelier’s mission is to offer excellent Fine Art education through the study of Renaissance Art principles, traditions, and history. In turn, it builds a comprehensive foundation for the development of each student’s artistic skills.
The history of Atelier Neo Medici started in 1973, when Patrick Betaudier - a Master Painter - founded the Atelier in a grand Norman style house in Verneuil-sur-Seine, a village outside Paris. Over the years, students from Europe and Paris came to the Île-de-France region to study with him. The surrounding natural landscape of the Atelier makes for a wonderful backdrop for learning, helping students dedicate their time to creative academic studies. The school’s offerings include an Annual Course and an Intensive two-month course, all of which prepares aspiring artists for creative life.
