Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to all the most common questions about ARCC Programs.

What is included in the South Africa tuition?

The South Africa tuition covers all program activities, lodging, meals, and ground/water transportation. Airfare is not included in the tuition.

How will we travel?

Group transportation is provided by our in-country partners, and may include commercial and domestic flights, private guide vehicles, public transportation, and others. Enrolled families will receive a pre-program itinerary that details all specific transportation for their program.

Where do we sleep?

On international programs, accommodations vary. You'll stay in comfortable hotels and eco-cabins. Each setting offers a unique cultural experience, whether it's the coziness of a boutique hotel or the charm of eco-friendly lodges. ARCC ensures all accommodations are suited to the group size and program's focus.

What is the food like?

Meals are provided by trusted in-country partners or at local restaurants, giving you a chance to enjoy authentic cuisine. Students do very little cooking and often find the food to be a trip highlight. Vegetarian and other dietary needs (allergies, sensitivities) can be accommodated.
