As we traverse historical sites like Ollantaytambo and Cusco, we’ll participate in a chocolate workshop and enjoy a cooking class with a professional chef, deepening our understanding of Peruvian cuisine. This program's service-learning initiative combines cultural immersion and hands-on service as we work with a guild of llama breeders who use these animals to transport supplies through the rugged Andes. We will help pack the loads and escort the troop through the hills.
During this program, we sleep in a variety of accommodations: simple hotels, hostels, homestays, and a village community house.
No. US Citizens do not need a visa for this program.
While in Peru, we will travel by train and private bus with a professional driver.
