Arcadia Abroad - Social Systems, Sustainability & Justice
Program Overview
Often referred to as the "Land of the Midnight Sun," Norway is renowned for its stunning natural beauty and its commitment to environmental sustainability and green living. The country leads the way in promoting sustainable practices and preserving its pristine natural environment—all while building social policies that place strong emphasis on education and innovation.
Yet, alongside these green initiatives and progressive systems lies a striking contradiction: spearheading the green revolution while relying heavily on income from the oil industry. This program examines the complexities of social systems in the wake of these successes and contradictions.
