We are looking for a hard-working, animal-loving assistant to learn how to care for animals in a rescue shelter. This role involves much more than feeding! A clean shelter is ESSENTIAL to ensuring the health of our 100+ rescued cats and dogs. The Assistant also learns some basics about caring for fully rehabilitated animals with lifelong health issues, such as paralysis and PTSD. Primarily, we are looking for those with veterinary or animal care/sanctuary experience or education, but all applicants must have experience working or volunteering with animals.
