Bachelor of Film and Creative Media
Program Overview
The Film and Creative Media program at the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG) is our newest major born from the university’s strong legacy in film and media production. The degree combines hands-on production with critical and creative thinking, giving you the tools to bring stories to life across different formats. From fiction and documentary to experimental film and digital media, you’ll explore storytelling in all its visual forms.
Instead of just studying media, you will create it. The program involves a number of production-based courses that will teach you how to develop ideas, shoot, edit, and produce your own projects from concept to post-production.
You’ll also dive into the theory behind film and media, guided by international faculty with years of experience and will have several field visits and meet-ups with production companies and experts.
Duration: 4 years (full-time)
Tuition before any financial support: Approx. €6,900 per semester (for the 2026-2027 Academic Year)
Scholarships: Multiple scholarships available.
