Volunteer in Tanzania: Okoa Maisha Program

Empower young people to make important decisions toward HIV/AIDS prevention through an education and awareness campaign. This volunteer program will have you working with officers to provide training and a three-day seminar for peer leaders. These are the brightest, most outgoing students from both government and private primary and secondary schools in Tanzania. They are nominated and elected by teachers, peers, and other students to lead peer-to-peer learning. As a volunteer, you will run the campaign within your target community.
