Add first reviewVerifiedSince 2019

Join a Nursing Elective program that puts students at the helm of care activities for patients, forming an integral part of hospital staff. Participants will provide care to the patients. The students will help ease the tension of patients, learn to promote physical health and act as counselors. They will provide intellectual, psychological, and emotional support in matters that deal with diseases. Nurses act as comforters, healers, and basic care providers for the patients. They will need to possess the knowledge and inherent sensitivity to be able to deal with issues related to the health of the client. They work as teachers, guiding patients in managing the therapy and treatment process related to the disease. They help promote a healthy lifestyle and educate patients about the steps they need to take to decrease the intensity of the pain, as well as the after-effects of the disease.
