Legal Aid Internship in Tanzania

Join this internship program in Tanzania and gain a unique, valuable experience in the legal field. At the same time, learn about a culture different from your own while exposed to their own ways of doing things. The placement is at a law firm in Arusha, where you’ll gain exposure to all aspects of their practice and day-to-day activities. They welcome students with general legal knowledge, but they will be more than happy to take into consideration any specializations in a particular area of law. The best advantage of this internship is that you’ll get to visit Tanzanian Courts and observe how they function. You’ll learn about a wide range of cases, from civil and criminal to probate and property. You can join any month of the year, except August and September, with flexible start and end dates. Stay from 4 weeks up to a year (subject to visa requirements). Requirements: - Should be in your 2nd year of Law degree - Graduates and qualified lawyers are welcome - Open to all nationalities - Aged between 18 and 70+, unless otherwise stated
