Intern abroad in Tanzania and join an economic strengthening program that focuses on microfinance and micro-lending. This is aimed toward small businesses ranging from small kiosks to restaurants and from craft stores to agricultural cooperatives. Amani Hostel works with members of cooperatives or community-based organizations, as well as HIV/AIDS victims taking care of and supporting orphans and vulnerable children (OVC). We provide them with funding and specialized business training. We also work with specific trades and industries, offering them advanced courses in a range of topics – accessing capital, marketing and finance, business planning, creating and using a balance sheet, and so much more. Hence, we need volunteers with relevant skills and experience: - Researching, writing business and strategic plans - Conducting stakeholder consultation across diverse organizations and management levels - Setting and devising objectives, strategies, and tasks - Giving presentations and facilitating meetings - Completing and disseminating concise, clear reports within tight schedules - Written and verbal communication skills - Strong analytical skills
