Internship in Tanzania: Radio Journalism and Production

The station provides news and entertainment, allowing you to immerse yourself in a structured work environment. If you have previous experience in this field, get the chance to create your own assignments and express your ideas. You could also prepare news stories as well as research and edit features or become involved with production and broadcasting. Depending on your past experience and the way you demonstrate yourself, you could broadcast the final story. The station carries out fast-paced activities, by African standards, so be prepared to deal with a lot of work. Their small team yet wide reputation means you’ll work many hours throughout your placement. This internship program is available all year round, with flexible start and end dates. You can stay from 4 weeks up to a year (subject to visa requirements). There are no specific qualifications, but previous experience in journalism and broadcasting allows you to handle more in-depth and complex tasks.
