Game Design + Croatian Language and Culture

This program gives you a practical introduction and overview of the whole game design process and teaches you how to approach a game from both the player’s and the developer’s perspective.
The focus is not on simply following a formula. You’ll learn how to take an initial idea and develop it into a structured game concept.
You’ll learn how to think through design decisions, predict how players might respond, identify potential problems, and adapt your ideas when necessary.

You’ll learn to look at games as systems designed to create a particular player experience and how to make sure that the systems and mechanics of your game make sense within the world you’ve created.
You’ll also explore player behavior and player drop-off. Diving into player psychology, you will question why people stop playing or abandon a game and how design decisions can influence player engagement. You’ll develop the habit of anticipating potential problems before they become problems and considering different solutions from the player’s perspective.
