Earn 3-semester credits during a 3-week January term program with AIFS Abroad at Cours de Civilisation Française de la Sorbonne (CCFS), Paris. A centralized institution from its foundation until 1968, the Sorbonne is now one of the dozens or so independent units of the University of Paris.
Study fine arts in the course Fashion in France 18th-21st Century. You'll explore the links between fashion and artistic, cultural, social, and political contexts across French history. This class is taught in English.
Housing options include a homestay in the city of Paris, or you may choose to stay in a student residence in central Paris for an extra fee. Wi-Fi access is provided in all accommodations. You'll enjoy cultural and social activities such as a guided city tour and visits to cultural sites across Paris, a Bateaux-Mouches boat trip, a visit to Opéra Garnier, and a half-day trip to the famous Chateau de Versailles. An optional Macaron Cooking Class (2 hours) is available.
