Do I need a background or experience in marine biology to join?

No experience is required. We provide full on-site training to teach you everything you need to know about sea turtle protection, coral restoration, and community outreach. All you need is a good command of English, adaptability, and a passion for ocean conservation.

What does the £420 program fee cover?

The fee covers your project placement, accommodation throughout your stay, visa support assistance, and a formal leadership certification upon completion. Please note that flights, personal daily spending, and meals are not included unless specified in your onboarding package.

What does a typical day look like on the project?

You will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Your daily tasks vary between fieldwork and community engagement, including designing local workshops and planning awareness campaigns. Weekends are completely free for you to explore Sri Lanka.
