Each region, even the smallest village, keeps particular traditions alive all around the year through colorful decorations, food, drinks, dances, and songs. Live with a host family and experience the friendly nature of the Portuguese, who are very welcoming of foreigners.
Live in an urban or suburban area of Portugal where you can enjoy the sunny weather and beautiful sights—many people go to the beach as much as possible!
Attend high school and choose one of the following tracks: science and technology, social-economic sciences, social and human sciences, languages and literature, or visual arts.
Experience fresh, local cuisine and ingredients; seafood is highly popular in Portugal and you’ll find that there are hundreds of ways to prepare fish, from charcoal-grilled sardines to salt cod.
