Program Overview

Acquire professional experience in a "bufete de abogados" in Spain’s capital - Madrid! Law internships across the country have become increasingly popular, with many law firms welcoming international law students and professionals.

Interning in a Spanish law firm is a great boost to your résumé and your future career, considering that many legal institutions and offices value international experience. If you’re highly interested in this opportunity, you need a high-intermediate level of Spanish proficiency. You must already have taken the LSATs and/or are enrolled in law school.

Adelante offers placements in municipal courts and legal departments of companies. Participating firms range from family law to maritime law and from corporate law to copyright law. For 1-6 months, you will be working alongside Spanish lawyers or with a team of lawyers and consultants. We guarantee a spot at the table, our focus is on finding you an ideal internship.

You will live and work in Madrid, which gives plenty of opportunities to explore and practice informal Spanish. Our programs begin on the first Monday of each month. Submit a $325 application deposit to secure your spot!

Splendid internship

I felt like my internship was extremely unique because not only did I learn a lot with Fernando Fanego at his office, but, he really gave me a hands-on experience by taking me with him to court proceedings and elections for the lawyer society of Madrid. He took me in as his ward and introduced me to countless attornies, businessmen, and people who share a similar mentality of professionalism as we do, which was much appreciated.
