I recently completed my certification at the Buenos Aires TEFL Institute, and it was an absolutely amazing experience—honestly, much better than I even imagined it would be. What I loved about the program here is that you practice your teaching skills from week 2. It was my first time in Latin America and although this was daunting at first, you are fully supported by the tutors and this boosted my confidence in teaching English to native Spanish speakers, which is not as easy as I thought. By the end of the course, I felt I had learned so much and was super confident to teach English. I had never ventured out of the US and the provided accommodation was also a great experience for me. The school is run by women and they also help social organizations from Argentina and this was also important to me since giving back to the community was something I was really looking forward to. All the teachers will give you any advice you need. You are also provided with all the materials you will need both for the course and for teaching which is beyond useful. Buenos Aires TEFL onsite class was truly valuable and an amazing experience. It is well worth it. Our trainer taught us ESL grammar points that most of us were needing refreshers on, ice breakers and game ideas that would work with all age groups, backgrounds and English language levels, and was very supportive.
