What inspired you to work for the EGO Group?
We always strive to create a legacy with each project, contributing to a better future. We are passionate about every design we create with a story of a fusion with local cultural heritage. Every day at work, we are encouraged to be bold, creative, and expressive about our ideas which create difference and are always innovative.
What is your favorite part of your job?
The aspect of my job that I enjoy most is the constant challenge of developing a project that seamlessly integrates the local cultural heritage while adding contemporary elements. Through this work, I gain a deeper understanding of cultural values. This enables me to preserve the best of them while also modernizing them to suit the changing needs of society. Our team believes that every design needs a distinctive style, and landscaping is similar to fashion in that it evolves seasonally, based on trends and social needs.

How do you use your education and international background in your current role?
Although I graduated as a mural artist, the comprehensive skills, critical thinking, and creative skills I acquired during my studies have been incredibly useful in my current role as a Creative Landscape Architect. My ability to envision abstract visual art as a landscape masterplan has enabled me to generate numerous creative ideas. Additionally, conducting team research on local cultures has allowed me to develop unique and tailored ideas that are suitable for each project.
What challenges do you often face and how do you overcome them?
Creating a tangible product from an idea is a challenging task for those in this role. While there may be countless beautiful and promising ideas, there are also various limitations to consider, such as personal knowledge, the available technology, and client demands.
A skilled architect or designer can seek out successful methods from around the world and apply them to their design. A truly exceptional architect or designer can take successful technology to the next level.

What advice would you tell your pre-travel self?
In order to fully appreciate the world around us, it is recommended that we take a moment to recognize the beauty that can be found in even the most commonplace and unremarkable things. It is often these objects or moments that are seemingly mundane that hold the most profound significance and meaning. Therefore, it is important not to overlook the small things in life as they may serve as a source of great inspiration and joy.

Why is it important for people to travel abroad and experience new cultures?
Our unique cultures contribute to the diversity of our civilization. By taking the time to understand different cultures, we can better understand the people, including both the positives and negatives. This understanding is a valuable life experience that stays with us. As we learn and adapt, we can integrate the best parts of different cultures and become more similar to one another.

A meaningful travel experience is an incredible opportunity to embrace new adventures, broaden your horizons, and create lasting memories. It opens doors to learning and allows you to immerse yourself in different cultures, traditions, and perspectives.
